For over 10 years, EFFIS has pioneered software solutions in the field of
sales support, customer relationship management, functional process
improvement and strategic planning techniques that can translate

EFFIS is a software development and consulting services company, founded in 1991 by Michel Karma,
who holds Masters degrees in Engineering and in Technology & Policy
from the Ecole Centrale de Paris (a leading engineering school) in France and the Massachusetts Institute of
Technology (MIT) in the US. For 10 years, he also taught as a lecturer in the Master's
of Business and Information Technology
Program of the Paris Dauphine University.
The company has been active in the field of
decision support and business intelligence since it's inception.. It has empowered
the employees of client companies, both large and small, by designing
systems focused on supporting functional and decision support aspects
pertinent to each level of management or staff.
In 2001, Mohammed Rafai, who also holds a masters in Operations
Research and Engineering from the Ecole Centrale de Paris, joined the company
as Senior Partner and Vice President of Engineering. He brings a
wealth of experience in advanced Mathematical Modeling, Computational
Programming and Optimization.
Linda Karma, who holds Masters from Harvard Business School
and Harvard’s Division of Engineering and Applied Sciences, serves as Senior
Partner and Vice President of Business Development. She brings broad
experience in corporate Strategy, Finance, Marketing and Sales gathered from
her tenure in European management positions for S&P 500 companies.
Rod Haden, who has joined Effis as Senior Vice President of
Sales in 2005, brings a wealth of experience in the area of Sales Development
and Sales force management. He has had a distinguished senior
management career in both large and small information technology as well as
publicly traded software and book publishing firms. The breadth of his
experience extends from consumer products and large retail distribution, to
the business-to-business technology market. He will lead the company's
expansion in North America across various markets.
